I suspect they 1) have the blade tension set way too tight against the bed knife, 2) The ground they are using is really too bumpy for this style of mower, 3) They are leaving it way too long between cuts of 4) they truly are weaklings. The lawnmower comes equipped with a grass catcher that has a 25-liter capacity, making cleanup in the yard much more convenient. However, if you want to have minimal effort and money isn't a problem you probably should just hire a gardener. About 10 seconds into my very first go it was clear to me that the grass box would just be in the way as I’d have to go back and forth multiple times to be able to cut through the ridiculously long lawn as it had outgrown so badly.If this is the case then it will clearly be indicated in the product information for your awareness. I guess this could be avoided by having a slightly better design that just doesn’t allow this to happen… But I’d expect (and bloody well hope! It is fairly hard work to use on medium/long grass, you need to keep going back and forth to get the clumps down but you get there eventually.
I found that the section that collects the trimmings would fall off a lot during mowing of rough grass. I’m no lawn-snob and wouldn’t expect this thing to make your garden look better than the retired couples prestige garden next door however it cuts the grass well and has left me content enough. The first job for the mower was to cut the 10m x 10m lawn, the first cut this year and fair to say slightly over grown. Good news first: Lawnmower performs well; grass looks neater than after mowing with my previous electric rotary mower which recently broke (also a Bosch).
