Each Sachet (10ml) of Oral Suspension contains 500mg Sodium Alginate, 213mg Sodium Bicarbonate and 325mg Calcium Carbonate as the Active Ingredients, It also contains Sodium, Calcium, Methyl (E218) and Propyl (E216) Parahydroxybenzoates, See leaflet for further information. The calcium carbonate and sodium bicarbonate work as antacids to neutralise your stomach acid and ease the pain and discomfort this can cause. Interactions with Other MedicinesAntacids such as Gaviscon should not be taken at the same time as certain other orally-administered medicines. Each sachet contains two antacids (calcium carbonate and sodium bicarbonate) and an alginate that work in unison to relieve pain and discomfort by neutralising the stomach acid and protecting the stomach lining from irritation. if you suffer or have suffered from significant kidney or heart disease, as certain salts could interfere with these diseases.The sachets contain calcium carbonate, and their unique formulation offers relief that can last up to x2 longer than regular antacids*. If you experience a severe allergic reaction you should stop taking this medication and speak to a doctor immediately.
